I know that I wont get the total package in terms of the GUI with the ipad but I cant really have a C15 in my room. I wonder if its technically possible to upgrade the ipad app to later on include the extra features missing.

So with the ipad app you have to read all the tracks from a list and not album art? That sucks a bit..... All I want to be able to do is navigate my music well and discover content I had previously forgot about.

Do you think the ipad sooloos experience will deliver that?
The iPad app has a list of categories in the bottom half of the screen where you can select a category type, such as artist, album, genre, etc. After you select one by touching it, it brings up a list of the available choices within that category. So, you are not able to browse by album cover as you do with a Control 10 or 15. However, once you do select an album, its cover art does appear in the upper left corner of the screen.

I would think that it is technically possible to have the Sooloos app modified by its programmers to offer cover art browsing since an iPad can do so in its native iPod app.

I don't think you will have any trouble using the existing Sooloos app to "navigate your music well and discover content you had previously forgotten about." It really does work just fine, with only the two limitations of not letting you set "focuses" and not providing browsing by album cover art. In other ways, it can actually be easier to use than the Control 10 or 15 screen when setting up a queue of songs "on the fly."
