Further thoughts on Less is more in main system
My System
SCD 5400 ES optical out into Yggy
Pass labs X1, XA60.5 into Magnepan 3.6R
Also streaming Amazon High Rez from 2015 MacBook Pro
Similar results to the Stax Ear Speakers.
VERY clear, 3D, deep soundstage, extended high frequencies, warm midrange, deep bass.
Even CD layer from SACDs sound great....hard to tell from the SACD layer.
Extremely clear, with all the audiophile goodness anyone would want.
Best digital playback I ever heard! Could not be more pleased! Five Star sound quality.
