Here is one more "gem of a discovery" I made recently while changing around some equipment.
I have two audio systems and my Parasound A21 has always powered my Magnepan MMGs, since planar speakers need the power (300wpc+). The LM Audio has been powering my Vandersteen 2CE Sig II's. I would have never tried to power the MMGs with 20 to 30 tube watts, but I tried it with the 216IA. Well it sounded fantastic, with no strain or distortion. I listen at moderate levels, but never get past 1/3 volume with this combo.
The MMG's and the LM Audio 216IA are my sweetest combo. Who would have thought the 216IA would drive the MMGs?....
