About two months ago I "gave in" and ordered some 1953 vintage GE 6SN7GTA's for Freya's driver stage - wow what a difference: warmer, more 3D, punchier. So I then ordered a set of early 60's GE 6SN7GTB's and put them in the buffer section of Freya and again - things got a little sweeter and more 3D. So .... I'm now NOS tubes convert. The GE's absolutely trounce the new production Tung Sol "upgrade" tubes from Schiit.
