I had the mc 2301s with the cr-1s. Sounded great, but I prefer the accuphase A200s. There was certainly nothing wrong with the 2301s and cr-1s. Would knock your socks off. At those levels, it's just which one you prefer. Big thing for the Cr-1s is that their slightly inefficient, so plenty of juice required. Not over the top in that category, but I don't mind running them at all with the a200s.
