I can't remember. What I do recall is putting the big green meters out of my mind as being simply out of reach, financially. This went on for decades until one day recently ago I realized that for some time, I've actually been able to afford some Mcintosh gear. Bingo dude, I went out and in short order I bought a MEN220 and a MA7900. I'm a Boomer, and most of the people I know are about 20 years younger. They don't get it (stereo). Spending serious $ for sound is a foreign concept for most of them --- you know, an iPod and some desktop speakers'll to it ........
