easily, but it s due for an upgrade. I am looking at their newer models that just started to appear (DHA V590, HPA V550).

I imagine the new Violectric would be perfect for the Empyrean with their 32 ohm impedance. I had the Violectric V281 which was a fantastic amp. That amp was a smidgen on the darker side since its strength was built "up" from its stupendous bass foundation. (superb voltage rails and power supply much like the SPL Phonitors)
