Anyone using or tried the Oppo app?

2018 app. Claims to be easy/useful if using Oppo 205.
I can't get it to connect to my Oppo.
I've tried..automatic setup...and tried manually setting it up using IP address?
Will not connect or says "No player is found.."
Strange thing is.... I've follow setup procedures several times...everything works as supposed to, during setup...until it searches for new device...I get same error.
However, if I'm not in the setup mode, of Oppo 205 (but Oppo is powered On)...and I try to open the app...the app will briefly open, on my iPhone 10, then will automatically close out..like I exited the app. I've tried deleting and reinstalling app 3 times. Same issue.
