Setup in full race trim we should see mid 8's. Maybe a little quicker. Safety is a definite concern at those speeds (155+). At 135 mph in the quarter a parachute is mandatory. No roll bars at this level. You need a professionally installed cage that will pass tech. We actually added most of the bars required to step up to the next level (7.50's) just in case. Im just doing this so I can go out on friday nites and have some racing fun, and hit the local car shows saturday nite. But there is a serious side to it.
