Thanks all. I'm still breaking in my SLP-05; at 22 hours so far. I've been using a Krell HTS-7.1 for multi-channel and stereo for many years but wanted more! So even right out of the box this SLP-05 sounds especially great in resolving detail (e.g., ambience cues, new info) plus the transients are striking (e.g., the leading edge of plucked strings, percussion, etc.). It's fun hearing more realistic sounding music. I'll keep 'em burning thru the day and nite for the next few days breaking in the tubes and 2 new balanced interconnects.
Cheers
