They are because the transparent ICs made a huuuge difference in my system before. While adding the speaker cables after the ICs did nothing with those ICs in the system.. Replacing the transparent speaker cables for my old speaker cables and keeping the transparent ICs in, immediately bloated the bass somewhat, collapsed the soundstage and the palpability was no where near as good, so my other speaker cables would not be good for this comparison. Transparent cables work as a "system" together but the speaker cables truly get out of the way like they should and offer the amp/speaker a bridge of transparency and network optimized connection.
