Yes, the drone pilots, no, make that drone idiots (who are either too stupid, ignorant or truly don't care about safety or privacy of others) have caused quite a stir in the model community. They are a nuisance and can be quite a pain the a$$ for the law enforcement and FAA. There are those that enjoy drones/multicopters responsibly but the proliferation of the drones being sold all across the world and in places like electronic and automotive stores? That's just asking for trouble. Anyone can buy one and fly it more or less without training! They are very easy to fly and with the GPS feature, can be programmed to fly way out of sight and return "home" safely. The First Person View that is used with drones (goggles that the user wears to see what the drone sees), also makes it possible for them to be used in all kinds of illegal ways.

Then there are even more real threats to the full scale aviation, airliners, helicopters, etc... The freaking laser pointers that blind the pilots!!! Why aren't they being pulled off the market or being "registered"!
