Sad to hear of the passing of our Queen overnight.
I never met her personally but did come within 10 metres of her when I lived in London.
My Bosses wife was one of the Queen's advisers and she popped into our Office to say hello to him. (I worked for a large Law Firm).
Everything now changes. The Queen's face will be removed from our notes & coins, Military and Civil awards & honours will now have King Charles III crown & cipher etc.
My daughter will become a 'Kings Council; rather than a "Queens Council' (she is a Lawyer).
Our annual Queens Birthday weekend will become The Kings Birthday weekend, and the date will probably change.
The changes will take years to unfold.
