I also agree that 130hz is way to high for the Fathom. I feel the Fathom’s best work is done below 50hz. Or as suggested here, 40hz.

Which is why it pairs so well with my B&W 800 D2. Because my 800 D2 produce all frequencies well even down to 40hz. Whereas my experience with the Venere 3, no matter how I set them up, still lack volume below 100hz.

So, asked another way, my original question could also be…

What can I do to get back the lost mid-bass & bass frequencies my Sonus Faber Venere 3 aren’t producing that my B&W 800 D2 are? (when compared as 2.0 channel systems, both systems without subwoofers)
