Of course statistically, only 1 in 10,000 people actually has "Perfect Pitch" hearing to begin with.
For the rest of the 9,999 the "echoic memory" lasts no longer that 4 seconds at most, so I am always amused at the wonderful "difference in sound" write ups from audiophiles.
