Jonathan - am another very happy Silver Eclipse (bi-wire) speaker cable user with similar results. Moved from a bi-wire Mini-Eclipse run to the Silver Eclipse about a year ago and could not be happier. Cannot imagine either Gold or Platinum being enough better to justify the cost (though my ICs are all Au & Pt). Congrats on yours and happy listening.
