Shunyata Alpha V2 S/PDIF
I have one of the new Alphas on loan from my dealer and am using it in place of my usual, DH Labs D750 and Wireworld Silver Starlight cables.
My WW digital coax has always been the more detailed but forward-sounding of the 2 S/PDIF cables I own. The DH Labs was the more balanced sounding, perhaps with slightly (very slightly) better timing. I like them both, but neither had everything I wanted.
Initial impressions of the Shunyata Alpha V2: Freaking amazing. Balanced, detailed, spacious, tonally lovely. Subjectively better than the DH Labs or the WW.
I'll post back when I have more time with it. I also have an Alpha Ethernet in house to experiment with.
