It seems like moving the speakers in a 2D area of intrusion would be extremely time-consuming. If your speakers are large, moving them both inward and then forward and backward and listening at each step would be tough (at least for me). Is this what everyone is doing or are you picking a fixed forward position and moving the speaker into the room until the sweet spot is found?
