No..there was no misunderstanding. What you wrote speaks for itself.
What you failed to inform in your posts was that you had replaced the stock feet with different ones not because you perceived any benefit to the reproduction,but because of "cosmetic" concerns.
Btw.. You really should do a little research before you dismiss Stillpoints as "voodoo" You may find a good Google search would reveal countless positive reviews that are hard to dispute.
