However, two things struck me (Google translation):

1) 'DP-750 VS DP-950 & DC-950 (disk-based) Transport

The transport part mechanism is made of both models SONY'

SONY as a custom OEM manufacturer? May be Accuphase has the transport manufactured by someone outside, but SONY?

2) 'DP-950 & DC-950 VS DP-1000 & DC-1000 (Disc Use) First

Looking at each company's D/A converters, there are many manufacturers that upsampling inside the equipment, but in the case of accuphasal, oversampling is not performed at all. This is also a result of various verifications.'

Strange. You cannot maintain a frequency response of 0.5 - 50'000 Hz +0, -3dB when playing back CD without upsampling to at least 176,4 kHz.

Accuphase used Sony made optical modules since long ago. I think since CdP-X7ES and DP70 something like that. The main drive should be Accuphase in house’s, only the optical parts must be from larger company.
