Someone in Japan described the DAC-60 as "more vivid and more powerful" than the DAC-50 and the DAC-60 is better for rock and jazz. "Aggressive but not so pushing." The DAC-50 was "more subtle and delicate" which i found a good description in my experience with the DAC-50. He said in his experience some are preferring the 60 and some prefer the 50. Translation may have gotten lost a bit, but for those considering and since reviews and sound comparisons seem rare on these DAC option boards. Seems the DAC-60 might be a bit more forward. No idea if that is an early description and hundreds of hours of burn in will change that.
