Default Hello from Michigan

Hi Guys and Gals,
Just joined this forum yesterday after be informed of it by Dennis H. Sure is a lot of great info here. I first got the audio bug when I was about 10 years old, my dad had a huge Electro Voice speakers with a small tube amp "not sure of the make" and a turntable. I was always amazed at the the sound that old combo made, actually I'm still amazed today! I've been in and out of Audio now for about 50 years now and just recently got back into analog after selling most of it about 20 years, found a used VPI Prime w 3D gimbaled arm, just installed a Hana ML and found a demo Zesto Andros 1.2 phono stage that I just installed some NOS Telefunken smooth plates in and so far I'm blown away by the improvement over the stock JJ's. I messaged Dennis Had on one of his little amps and plan on getting one as soon as by pocket book gets over the shock it was just dealt by my audio addiction! I'm wanting to get into a set of full range speakers as well, years ago one of my audio buds and I were either at the Stereophile show in Chicago or one of the CES shows, can't remember but one of the vendors or dealers had a small SET 45 based tube amp, a turntable and a set of full range speakers, and to this today the sound coming from that room was magic! We ended up going back three times in all just to confirm what we had heard and all three visits were amazing.. I had mentioned the Madison BK12's to Dennis and he said that he had really like his but I have read that are certain resonances within the cabinet? Looks like Dennis tried some tweeters with his at one point, for the money they look like a good deal thou. Also read where they were tamed down using a larger Fe166 driver, not sure what was modded on the cabinet? Anyways that's my story and I'm stickin to it!
