The Springfield EMP is certainly sweet. However, I'm trying to go to something smaller/lighter than my Ruger SP101 that would be more comfortable during the warm months. Nothing one can do to make that cylinder on a revolver any narrower. The new .380 defensive ammo has about 90% of the 9mm stopping power (9x17 vs 9x19), so think if it comes down to it, would be up to me to put the rounds on target in either case. The accuracy of these new, smaller .380s & 9mms are outstanding. Same for the trigger pull. I'm just waiting to hear back from my FFL, who is away thru Monday to "pull the trigger".
