I have the 803 diamonds. They are toed slightly but most definitely not crossed in front of the center listening position. They cross behind the center listening position.
In this setup I attained a pseudo 3D sound.
Sitting dead center the vocals as well as certain music pieces appear to be coming from center stage. In reality it is not and I am surrounded in music.
Takes time and patience for speaker placement is imperative.
I started by using the Trianglization method. Distance between speakers + distance from speakers to listening position. (sweet spot)
It does not have to be exact to work...you can cheat a little on the measurements
My 803's are 3.5' from back wall and because of room restraints inches from side walls. My walls front and back are ascouticly treated.
