HDMI from Roon Nucleus to SP3
Since I moved Roon core to a Nucleus, it won't play with the Ayre QX-5 Twenty until I update it to a certified OS. There is a problem with updating. So I'm using HDMI from the Nucleus to the SP3. The SP3 passes balanced analog to an Ayre KX-5 Twenty by-pass. The DAC in the SP3 must be high quality, because the sound is great, competitive to Ethernet to the QX-5.
