The deck on my brother's Honda rotted out after 4-5 years. He was able to put the engine on a LawnBoy cast aluminum deck and it is still running fine after another 4-5 years.
I'll stick with my 31yr-old John Deere. The front wheel bearings are shot and will have to be changed out this spring, but that's the worst problem its had.
