My first turntable in 30+ years has arrived! Clearaudio Ovation--sound is amazing (kicking myself for all those CD purchases), but on to the point...

While I was waiting, my dealer was kind enough to allow me to have a similar model on loan for several weeks. Of course, I had to have the new Steely Dan UHQRs, as well as Kind of Blue. On the demo turntable, the UHQR vinyl was mighty snug around the spindle getting all the way to the platter. But now with the Ovation, the spindle hole is too tight for me to risk playing at least half of these 6 discs.

Any advice? Thanks
