The reported advantages are:

- Industrial N2 is much drier that compressed air.

- N2 doesn’t change its pressure as much as Air (roughly 80/20 N2/O2).

That is valuable to race teams that test and test and for a given set of track conditions know where they want their tire pressures to a Fine tuned level.

For the rest of us, N2 tires are useless and would be a PIA to keep at a target pressure through the seasons without having to schedule a visit to your dealer.
