Is there any value to this? Can a tube trap "sniff out" the room nodes and be used to find these problem areas? I thought the ASC guru's may have an answer?
I experienced exactly the same, both with tube traps and while moving around my room with an acoustic guitar while the stereo was playing a bass-heavy track and, yes, a foot (or even less) made a big difference.
