Back in the 50's, a group at one of the Bell Telephone Laboratories (Murray Hill, Holmdel or Whippany. cant recall.) did quite a bit of research into stereophonic sound. Their speaker preference was the K-horn. Long story short, eventually they dis-assembled a K-horn, measured each piece of wood and made a set of plans. Including wood type and a list of every piece of hardware necessary. This un-official document even had a real Bell Labs drawing number. I was able to get this document when I worked at the Indian Hills lab (naperville Il) in the mid 70's by simple requesting a copy of drawing number XXXXX.
