Default Laissez les bons temps rouler!!!

Greetings from New Orleans!!

Long time periodic lurker, finally decided to join and subscribe.

As a kid my father (acoustical engineer… military type stuff, not studio and grew up in a mining town on the iron range of MN, many industry caused essentially deaf family members) stressed “quality over quantity”. Of course I ignored at times. But happy to say after hundreds of live shows, now in my 50’s I’m still able hear and pinpoint a fluorescent fixtures condenser that’s bad

As with many, I upgraded my home system during the pandemic towards my final
My path started years back with components from Dalquist, Nak, Sunfire, Monitor Audio (while still made in the UK), Arcam etc

I jumped full into the McIntosh realm as I liked the sound years back. It just didn’t do it for me this time so my system has now settled at.. 2ch and HT

Pass Labs XP-32
Pass Labs XP-27
Pass Labs X350.5
VPI Aries 3 (restored and upgraded)
ZYX Airy cart
Audiolab 6000cdt
dCS Lina DAC and clock (2ch, no headphones)

Mc MX-123
Mc MC-257

Focal Sopra 3
Focal Sopra Center
Focal Sopra be
Monitor Audio radius 90 (raised rear)
REL 212/sx subs

Cables are a hodgepodge (what’s getting all the attention currently, going slow since I destroyed any perceived budget I started with through components I have too many of, and will need to sell to recoup some eventually) leaning towards Shunyata PC and interconnects)
Furutech DSS 4.1
Mogami wire for surrounds and rear
Wireworld eclipse 7 XLR
Mogami Gold XLR
Blue Jean RCA

Puritan Audio mains purifier

Thanks for having me, hope to contribute and continue to learn
