Klaudio is back?
I just got an email from Acoustic Sounds about a new Klaudio RCM. There's nothing I can find on Klaudio's website that mentions they're back in the market. Anyone have the inside scoop?

There is nothing that I am aware of.

Improved Features (over the LP200S): New & improved belt-less direct drive disc rotation motor New & improved brushless submersible water pump New & improved wash basin construction Updated water leveling system $6500 MSRP. Seems like a hard sell against newer machines like the Degritter. |
Klaudio is back?
I just bought a Degritter last night. Got the acoustic sounds email earlier this evening. I was relieved when I saw the $6500 price tag as I instantly knew the Degritter is still the right choice for me. I owned the original Klaudio and loved it but foolishly sold it in 2016 when I was forced to moth ball my system for better part of a year. I’ll be glad to have a US RCM in house again. Good luck to AS, new United States/majority of world distributor of the new revamped model T. Looks like it is built to last a lifetime.

I hope Klaudio can make the business work this time around, but with lower priced models out there they'll need a strong case for buying their RCM over others that cost half as much. $3000+ can buy a heck of a nice cart and lots of music.

It’s solid thus far Had an issue with the water container but was handled. |
New and improved price too. Wow! $6500 for an RCM? No thanks.

I think they have priced themselves out of the market. I struggled to pay what I did for my Audiodesk Systeme Pro 4 years ago, with a trade in.

The original version of this RCM was previously made and sold at about 1/3 retail; albeit a few years ago. :scratch2:
