Southeast Audio Society
Calling all fellow audiophiles in the following areas. Southern VA, NC, SC and northern GA. Would like to build a band of friends for fellowship and to share all things high end audio. Would like to plan meetings and listening sessions at members homes willing to host. Looking forward to getting off to a great start. |
i'm in atlanta, but have a house (with no audio) in north carolina mountains. Count me in if logistics work.

Marty: I have attempted a get together in NC. Hope you have success. I am willing to host anytime in Greensboro, NC 27410. Thanks, Jim

I am sure Al (Acolcer) near Charlotte will also host.

This is great guys. I have two or three from another forum and a few here and before long we have a group. I will send everyone a PM to get your email addresses. I think creating a newsletter might not be a bad idea that could be sent out regularly to keep everyone up on what is happening. Maybe even see if some local audio dealers could host events. What do you think?

dealers? with a show room, and inventory? do they have those any more?

yes, joking as to that shop, but still feel a decrease in the number of physical dealers overall. could easily be wrong.

Maybe you can get some ideas from our group, located in the San Francisco bay area. We just had a tour of the Magico speaker factory, and Micheal Fremer was here a few months ago.

get together
As Jim indicated, I would be interested. I would even host a meeting in Charlotte (28173)if needed. Winter is preferred as I am a golfer and weekends in the summer get busy on the links.
