Article on Zerodust

I came across this today and wondered what our thoughts here might be. I don't own a zerodust, but I do know that it's quite popular. Since I bought my new VPI table I've purchased an Integrity Hifi Tru-Kleen and have been liking it. While the blue tack cleaning pad on the Tru-Kleen is not the same as the Zerodust, it has crossed my mind if it may leave a residue on my stylus or cantilever. For 35 years or more previous I had used a discwasher SC-2 which uses a brush and fluid.

Any thoughts on this article?

ZeroDust works for cleaning a stylus but so do other methods, like using Mr Clean. YT video on how to use it.

Been using this and DS Audio for +10 years Pete. Once I read the article I got out my microscope and found no hint of residue on my stylii. I also use the Flux us cleaner every 10 plays. I will not change my routine, it has worked for me.

Kevin....that's good to know, thanks. I've been using the Tru-Kleen with its blue tack pad since I got my new TT earlier this year. I still hit my stylus with the SC-2 fluid and brush every once in a while. I need to get myself a USB microscope someday soon.
