Tannoy Fan forum
Just seeing how many Tannoy fans there are out there. Haven't been able to find a Tannoy forum out there on the net....would be nice to have one here.

I vote yes. I've never owned them but enjoyed them in a friends system 30 years ago. I love that at one time in GB Tanoy was the generic name for loud speaker and that the the company is still producing products that uses the original design principals.

Yes please. Would like to know more about this brand.

I love vintage Tannoy's, I have 2 sets of 10" reds, 2 sets of 12" Golds, 15" red's in York corner cabinets, and Tannoy Cheviot's. Would like to share my experience, and learn about others.
There is a dedicated Yahoo Group at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...tions/messages Also There is a dedicated Tannoy site with tons of information about designing, building and restoring Tannoys at TANNOY Monitor Gold dual concentric speakers I'm all for a Tannoy forum here on AA |
A Tannoy forum is a great idea. I've got the newer Turnberrys but would like to learn more about the NYC apartment-sized Westminster and the vintage speakers.

Glad to see the enthusiasm. I have Kensington SE and really enjoy them. would love to go up to the next model.

I'm watching this thread for additional interest. ;)

Here. Been running Tannoys in my main (only) system for 7 consecutive years now. I've enjoyed some other speaker brands, but nothing will ever come home to replace my Tannoys (besides bigger Tannoys) :D
My Tannoy timeline: Eyris DC3 > {non-Tannoy stuff} > Dimension TD10 > Kensington SE > Canterbury SE. |
