I feel like to some extent all of us here are like this guy - we have our goals and we try to achieve them in the best way possible. Glad to see someone reached theirs.

It's a wonderful story, beautiful room and system too. Unfortunately he is not doing well and has a degenerative condition in its later stages. Very sad.....he still reads the forums with the help of his wife and family though so anything positive regarding him, his story and system may reach him, particularly on the 'gon.

Yes. I think about him even as I sense the "upgrade/change" cycle wanting to restart with me. I don't have anywhere near the space, money, inclination or time to do what Mr. Fritz did, but I can do the best I can with what I have and remember that there is more to my life than a stereo system. I can also note that these urges to change something occur usually in the midst of a lull in playing my system.
