I remember always listening to him while logging many miles in a car with a sales colleague. That was 30 years ago. He was an institution.

RIP Rush.

We lost a great humanitarian.

What a life! A great American. He will be missed.

RIP Rush.

Setting aside his politics - which we don't want to get into here - Rush was a true innovator who recognized an untapped power of radio and blazed a trail with it. He honed his skills on Top 40 radio, working as Jeff Christie on stations such as KQV and WIXZ and adapted some of its best elements and his persona into a unique style. He was the country's most listened-to radio host.
