Will I be going down the rabbit hole with DCS Vivaldi purchase?

Friends, please help me spend my money wisely!

I am contemplating getting an Apex Vivaldi DAC. Already have Aurender N30sa on order(Upgrade from A30 - streamer + DAC combo).

So here is the question, after Vivaldi purchase, will I soon be "compelled" (for the lack of better word) to get the Master Clock, the Upsampler, then the interconnects, the power cords..and so on.

Or, will I be content with just the Apex DAC alone, as it was originally planned?

No, high odds you will need to go further down the rabbit hole. An in-home loaner/trial would be a good next step if available.

Well, my dealer is ordering one and letting me take it home - with "return it if you don't like and if you like wire transfer the funds" condition.

Since I will have Aurender N30sa hooked to it, I would only need to upgrade the Master clock, if I want to. No need for upsampler as the Aurender takes care of it.

And I do have a very good CD player.

I am feeling a bit good about this, I think! The rabbit hole is not looking that deep!

Every person who has sent Ivan their $25 or $100, or thought about it and decided not to, is down the rabbit hole!

I think you may be in the wrong place for that, just as they don't hold AA meetings in your local pub.

Definitely get at least one Shunyata Alpha power cord or better

Me recently:
Lampizator Baltic-> Pacific -> waiting on Horizon delivery
Conrad Johnson TEA2SE phono -> Lampizator MC2 phono
VPI Classic 2 TT -> VPI Prime Signature 21 TT
Auralic Aires Mini -> Roon Laptop -> PS Audio Directstream -> Aurender N-200 -> Lumin X1
Cisco switch -> EtherREGEN switch -> Zyxel switch -> SOtM switch
Panamax -> Grays Power -> PS Audio Regenerator -> Shunyata Denali 6000/s V2 + waiting on Typhon T2
JL Audio subs and CR1 -> REL Carbon Specials
PS Audio Power cables -> Shunyata Power Cables

No rabbit hole here, mine is a total SINKHOLE!
