Cool !
Thanks a lot Ivan. That would be great to move there all the threads about DeVore speakers. |

Thanks Ivan. I love my Devores and it will be nice to have a dedicated forum to compare notes with others.
|
Jérôme.......I just moved a bunch of threads into the new DeVore forum. As I find more I will move them.

John, It sure would be nice to have a pair of Devores on my patio.
Devore Fidelity outdoor speakers in Bamboo or maybe Teak. What do you think? |
I have your 0/96's paired with Shindo D'Yquem's and Vosne Romanee. Have about 250-300 hours on them so far. They are finally opening up. The bass is coming to life and soundstage has improved dramatically from new. I am loving them! Amazing to get such big sound from a relatively small speaker. Looking forward to full break-in.

DeFgibbon... Welcome!
|
Thanks all, nice to be here!
Dale--How about a pair of 3XLs in ziplock bags for the patio..? Heh, heh... Hi J.J., Sounds about right, you're halfway through burn-in and things should be pretty much as you describe. Hang in there, sounds like a killer system. Happy listening. |

I'm struggling to understand why we have a DeVore Fidelity forum over a Vitus Audio forum. I've never even heard of that brand before!

This post does not seem very delicate to me. You're free to ask Ivan to open a Vitus Audio forum. But here is not the place to do it imho. |

John, it was about time to have you here. Wishing you lots of pleasure on AA ! |
Thank you Ivan.
When I became interested in Shindo, I started searching for efficient speakers and the name DeVore came up again and again and again. After a little research, I thought they were definitely worth checking out. Now, we can easily "study" these in their own special forum. And welcome to AA John. Having a representative--head ape, actually--of DeVore as a member is a real treat. |

Jerome,
You have a way of rubbing people the wrong way. Sometimes it's best to say nothing. Just food for thought!:D |

Welcome John. Great speakers!!!
I wish you could defy physics and come out with a small speaker for office/bedroom use, to go with tube amps. No compromise. I will buy a pair or two! Great job though. Wonderful speakers. |

Umm, how 'bout the 3XL? |
Belated welcome John! Love my Nines!

Hello,
Just wanted to introduce myself as a new O/96 owner in Vancouver BC. I'll be lurking here for the next few weeks as I work on integrating these speakers into my system. Talk soon. |

Hello,
Currently I'm running a PTP Lenco with Schick 12" arm as my one and only source. I'm trying a Denon 103 with an aftermarket micro line diamond into a Cinemag SU -- jury is still out on the modified Denon. It is more than a full step better than the stock set up, but may not be 'enough' to rely on as the sole source. I am set in my ways with the Leben RS30EQ and Leben CS600. The biggest stumbling block I have is my room. Like most of us in Vancouver, I live in a relatively small apartment and need to make the audio fit the layout. Any set up tips for the O/96 are appreciated. Thanks, Steve |
