MC462 and C2700
 

Hi all,

I'm in the process of buying my first McIntosh gear since beginning this hobby over 40 years ago and need some advice on a three tiered rack system that would hold these two units and a turntable. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Approximate budget on your rack?

Good question. I'm hoping to keep the cost down as much as possible because I'll have to buy two 3 shelf racks for our media/listening room. I'd like to keep it under $1000.

None of my rack vendors offer a rack such as the one you described remotely close to your price point.

Salamander will probably even be more, and I don’t recommend them for your gear.

The McIntosh MC462 is a 115lb component by itself.

Setting cost aside for the time being, what would you recommend?

Just looked them up and they look amazing! Now I’m going to have to increase my rack budget!

At least with me; you have an inside connection, and won’t pay near retail. :ok:
