Final Additions Maybe!

1 Attachment(s)
I think I have finally concluded my system changes. I went from single amp the MC462 to a pair of MC611's. That necessitated adding the second rack. I built both of them. I then added the vinyl storage case which holds what I am currently listening to and a cd case for the same purpose. I rearranged my room so that I can add a small recliner which is on order. Just last week I added a new rug to the mix. All with the wifeys approval of course.

Thanks, I am an avid photographer as well as an audio nut. The large prints are on canvas and act as room treatments.

Very beautiful system. As you know Mac has been producing speakers for 70 years. When I was just a kid I remember when Mac introduced their first speakers along with a lot of literature on them as to why they were the best. My dad owned Bozak's at the time. My point is that your speaker are built from tried and true technologies with the help of an anechoic chamber and voiced for your amps. I am sure your sound is terrific.

Best

Thanks Charles. I first acquired McIntosh in the early 80's and had a pair of their ML1C I believe. They were great for their time. I got back into Mc a little over a year ago. Really enjoying the journey.

Given the number of deliveries you obviously have had, you would need such a class....!

I bought a deal lamp to use over my turntable. I had a way to set it off to the side but it was not stable. Then I found I could take the arm of the lamp off the stand and I mounted it on some steel pipe by extending it above the top shelf. I used a pipe reducer down to .5" and it actually looks good the wife said.
