Just alerted to this by Jazziz and placed my pre-order.

Ella and Louis Acoustic Sounds Reissue: Verve will reissue Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong’s seminal 1956 album, Ella and Louis, as part of its fabled Acoustic Sounds Series. The album captures the instant chemistry shared between the two legendary artists on a program of well-worn standards. As with each of the titles of the series, the Acoustic Sounds reissue of Ella and Louis features transfers from analog tapes and remastered 180-gram vinyl in deluxe gatefold packaging.

I have this album (not this pressing) and have yet to play it. Hoping to get around to it soon, along with all the others I haven't played.

Even my SACD is mono.
I guess it was a mono recording ('56).
Superb sound though!

Ella and Louis

It seems that Acoustic Sounds specify it when it’s a mono version, so I’m assuming this 33 RPM 180 gram record will be a stereo release

And according to their website ‘Ella & Louis Again’ to follow in September

I wonder how it'll compare to the 45rpm mono.

It will all be on one LP rather than two.

Well certainly there is that obvious difference. Looks like they were each mastered by different engineers at Sterling, I'm sure someone like Mike from the In Groove will do a comparison.
