Auto Tonearm Lifter

4 Attachment(s)
I installed my Signet Tonearm lifter today. I had previously mentioned that Matt from Aluminati had made me a custom black delrin piece. Now, I'm happy to show the finished product.

Here is the Tonearm lifter mounted on the delrin riser, and on my VPI-HRX.

Here you can see the album halfway through, and the relative position of the lifter.

Here you can see the lifter has been tripped and has raised the Tonearm off the record at the end of play.

Finally, this pic shows that I have adjusted it to trip when the stylus is halfway through the lead out groove.

I wish these were still available, but they are long gone; I don't even remember where I bought mine, but it has been in storage for a very long time.

Ivan.......I have one of those tonearm lifters, too. I had it installed on my Michell Gyro SE/SME 309 but decided to return to full manual mode so the Signet tonearm lifter is back in the box stored on a shelf in the studio.

I need to talk to Matt to get a Delrin spacer for my AT6006 as well.

Dan... You would be amazed to see what some people are willing to pay for one of these, just crazy.

I'm glad I didn't get rid of mine. I bought it many years ago for my Infinity Black Widow tonearm and threw it into a junk drawer where it sat for over 30 years. I plan on using it again when I upgrade my vinyl rig.

Ivan.......I know. I have seen them for sale. In fact, there is one on eBay now for $175.00.

I didn't know about the Signet version of the Audio Technica AT6006 Safety Raiser. Had one since new, used it on a table or two and should install in on one of my manual tables.

The previous post shows them selling on the bay a few years ago but AT has started offering them again and their price is only 129 for the past couple years.

Working properly, it is the best design of the aftermarket arm lifters, the piston types.

Just installed the Audio Technica version this morning. What a big difference it makes not have to worry about nodding off while the TT is spinning.

Very smooth operation. Quite pleased with it.

MasterLu, is the custom delrin piece so you don't have to glue the lifter to your turntable?

I picked a Audio Technica a month or so ago and so far I'm impressed as well. Very smooth operation.
