Trying 3 Pre for MC2102

Both C70 and C2200 made a ground loop hum when plugged into different wall outlets from MC2102. C47 dead quiet in All situation.

C70,2200 made more like a vintage tube sound.
C47 not quite so.

C70 has so many green lights across the panel, especially when put side by side with 2102.

If I cannot repair C2200 Well enough , think I will choose C70.

Without having to read the entire other thread is it a wiring problem with your house that's creating the humming sound?

The C70 is a great looking preamp!

As for your pictures, the first is good, you can see how it looks. The other two are bad pictures.
As for the looks I prefer the first, more like my 504 whom I like very much.
As for coping with your main amplifier for the looks the third is the best.
But I have no idea how they sound because I haven't listened to neither of them.

Yeah, the first pic was from DSLR on tripod, the rest from hand held iPad camera.

My C2200 has some issues, other than that it sound good.
C70 sounds good and without any issue.
C47 sounds ok and absolute smooth in operation plus DAC, the most plug and play here.

I think Mc tube pre+power are more sensitive to ground than other gears I tried.
The wiring is fine.

So impressed by C70, I moved it to main system.
Well. No hum. But tube noise and unit’s self noise was well
Exaggerated. Because MOON amplifiers have hight gain of 31dB
And Magico’s high sensitivity. MOON 850P was dead quiet here,
ARC Ref40 made tube noise too, but much less. Anyway when Music
Played, C70 was very musical and provided everything that audiophiles expect. But it lacked one essential feature that I need, the HT Bypass. What surprised me the most was when I tried its MM input, very enjoyable.

Only by floating AC ground at C70 when pair it with MC2102 made the system totally quiet, no hum of any kind, just slight usual tube noise remained.

One thing for sure, after days with C70+2102, then the C2200+2102 sounded bass shy and strong high tilt up. I had to use tone control
Reducing treble and increase bass by as much as a quarter of turn to make tonal balance similar to C70, still bass did not as weighty as with C70. Is this because of Mullard tube inside C2200 vs Mac std. tubes in C70 ?
