Dan Wesson?

Today I went to the range after a long, long break. I took my trusty kimber tactical custom II 1911. I love that gun, I always shoot well with it. When I borrow most guns from the range case, I am unimpressed. Until now. I borrowed the Dan Wesson heritage 1911 45, and it was amazing. First time I picked it up, I was grouping my shots better than with my own gun, which is no slouch. It even got better. As the evening went on, I got so good with the DW, it seemed silly that I'd ever try another gun! Well, I know what my next non-audio purchase is. I'm a sucker for 1911's and this is the best I've tried.

Nice that they are made in New York, though it won't be a surprise if they follow Remington in moving to a more 'gun-friendly' state in the not too distant future.
