My Esoteric K-03 has shipped, I'll use this thread to post my impressions and pics. ;)

Dan... I made the decision to purchase this unit before I ever heard it. At RMAF I got to see and hear it in a few rooms; I know I made the right decision.

I'm looking forward to it's arrival.

Ivan.......I noticed in your photos of RMAF that there were quite a few showrooms using Esoteric players. That's always a good sign.

What is it?

CD/SACD Player w/ a real DAC. There are three digital inputs—coax, TosLink, and USB—as well as filter and oversampling options, just like an outboard unit.

After owning the D-07 DAC I was considering moving up to the K-03 but ended up with MCD-1100 because the Mac unit had the 3 digital inputs I needed. RCA, BNC and Optical. If that USB had been anything else I would own one now.
