So , I’m coming home from a long day at work, but thinking ahead to tomorrow (which is now today), and the anticipation of a very special visiter. As I pull into my driveway, park, get out of my car and head toward my front door, I look up, and see that my “tomorrow arrival” surprised me a day early. What a lovely site…

Before May came along, there was “Spring” :

Aha! The Holo Audio May - congratulations!

I’ve heard it requires a long burn in time.

We’ll see. But right now as I connected the I2S cable and turned the power on, a Sound Liaison recording was the first thing already teed up in my Bryston BDP-3, and while I’m sure I have a few weeks of ups and downs, cold right out of the box (okay, not so cold, this is Miami) it sounds like it added an octave to the low end from what my Spring did. More updates soon.

Oh, almost forgot. For anyone who has a Holo Audio Spring of the first two generations, there is a trade in and up plan. What you paid less 15% gets credited against the price of the May. That’s what I did.

Congrats, it will only get better with hours.

Congrats one Xmas eve last year and I am still enjoying. It makes a good Xmas present!
