Will there be a higher power version to replace the VSi75? |
'Beauty being in the eye of the beholder', have always thought that ARC needs a different industrial designer for their singularly ugly integrated amps. Unfortunately, the I/50 follows in that tradition, though it does use a nice tubeset. The aluminum 'shelf' that goes around the chassis reminds one of the silly aluminum 'cup holder' on top of McIntosh's MA12000 and MC901.

Homely, no DAC, and no phono stage for that coin on their "entry level" integrated? ARC needs to try harder. :tears:

Not convinced this ARC integrated would make me want to switch from my PrimaLuna Dialogue HP integrated.
I love the musicality of the EL34 running in Triode mode and the voltage divider, all tube headphone section is real treat. :music: I see the PrimaLuna with the opportunity it offers to use a dozen different tubes from EL34 all the way to KT150 as an advantage for any tube lover that is hard to overcome. :music: |
There is a lot of competition in this segment of the market. Not too sure ARC will connect with this offering.
