I am using only the analog preamp function of M12 in between my dac and ATC50. I found using the bricasti preamp enhanced the sound in a good way.

I am curious what DAC you are using that betters your M12?

I tried the M12 as a DAC only with my C1100 and it's really not meant for that.

Instead of using the word "better" I think it is more due to the synergy between the dac (chord dave + chord blu mk2) and the analog preamp part of M12.
