New Venom-X Clock Cable In-House -Woot!

Today I received my Venom-X Clock cable for the AfterDark master clock that connects to my EtherREGEN. The AfterDark master clock brought a BIG improvement to the system, and this morning my Venom-X clock cable just arrived.

It's literally just come off the truck, but the soundstage on the stock AfterDark cable was narrower, and the stereo image and the space between instruments and voices was smaller. With the Venom-X, I can hear much more resolution and layering of spatial information, and improved decay and "vapor trail". Most notably, the presentation is quite a bit more natural and organic.

The stereo image is notably wider, deeper, and more finely resolved and "fleshed out". Also, the "quiet bits" between notes is quieter. :music:

The cable is very nicely made with beautiful connectors. Here's quick iP13 PM piccie...

More to come as the cable settles, but another "hit" in the line of Venom-X series of cables.

It’s such a blessing that Shunyata offers clock cables as not many of their competitors do. I’ve tried the Delta v2 and Sigma v2 (both CLOCK-50). They deliver impressive gains - particularly around naturalness, density and lower noise. Wonderful that the Venom-X delivered for you too.

Most of AfterDark’s clocks are sine wave. Some will argue that sine wave clocks don’t require good clock cables and impedance matching. I was always skeptical as I figured that Shunyata clock cables would bring improvements regardless. Maintaining the fidelity of the signal is always important in this hobby.

Nice review and cable. I use a Delta Clock 75 for a portion of my S/PDIF signal chain.

Do you plug your EtherREGEN and clock into your power conditioner?
